CHINA
Fujian Golden Tips
Preparation:

A
fully-fermented black tea peppered
with golden tips, is from
China’s Fujian province. It is
carefully processed so that the
shape
is made up to be tightly twisted tea
leaves, rather than a broken
leaf which is the usual for most
other black teas from China. When
infused, they unfurl into full tea
leaves consisting of a single bud
with two to three leaves. The taste
is naturally sweet and strong
with a matching aroma. After a few
sips, the sweet aftertaste will
linger on in your mouth. A morning
or evening tea drink without
or with a little milk.

Lapsang
Souchong is a traditional Chinese
tea made by withering the leaves
over pine wood fires, before they
are pan fired over the same burning
wood which gives this tea its
characteristic lovely mild smokey
character, beautiful broad black

sugar and excellent at breakfast
time.

cinnamon, ginger, pepper and orange

teas are drunk with a lot of milk,
but in this case a dot would do.
Just plain will give you a reddish

This distinctive high quality tea
from Sichuan in China is bursting
with golden tips, a sure sign of its
fine quality. The tips are a result
of the finest handpicked tender buds
taken with very selective plucking
during the first flush months of
March and April. Sichuan being one
of the most famous tea producing
regions in China makes this tea a
real rarity. The leaves are purely
golden in color and the infusion has
an amber color. Exceptionally smooth
and delicate with a hint of malt.

This tea comes from Maharani Hill in
the heart of the Darjeeling growing
region, a small highly select
section of Margaret’s Hope
plantation, which is known for
producing fine Darjeeling tea for
close to 100 years. The tea delivers
a taste of its exquisite history in
a full flavored cup of fine tea. The
limited edition first flush is
harvested at the beginning of the
season from March to April when
temperatures start to rise and with
the sun’s increasing intensity and
fresh leaves begin to sprout. When
steeped, the color in the cup is
bright yellow-orange. This tea is
characterized by its fresh, flowery,
intense grapey flavor.
