Preparation: one tea spoon p/cup @
90oC for 2-3 minutes
This is China’s most famous tea and
simply the best of the Lung Ching
variety. It has more than a 1000
years of recorded history and was
mentioned in the first ever tea book
(Cha Ching) by Lu Yu during the Tang
Dynasty. The exquisite flat and
narrow emerald green tea leaves have
a shiny appearance after being
carefully hand fired in a large wok.
The tea leaves easily sink to the
bottom of the cup during infusion
and a pleasant aroma arise which is
refreshingly light with a hint of
fruit and nut combined. Aftertaste
is almost
instantaneous, filling your mouth
with a sweetness reminiscence of
grape fruit. It may be enjoyed plain
from morning to late afternoon and
best without milk.

Darjeeling white tea is very rare and exceptional in
the white tea world. It is produced in the early
spring by steaming and drying the first buds and
tips. The tea buds are picked with loving care since
the quality and value of this tea depends on it.
This results in the leaves appearing to be in their
unprocessed, natural state until you infuse them.
It’s mild and slightly sweet like other
